Position / Title: Chair Professor
Research Area / Specialization: BioMedical and Plants
1. Please briefly describe your research focus and current projects.
My focus is on incorporating advanced techniques like multiphoton microscopy in biomedical and plant research, specifically basic research, but also in clinic. Mainly cardiovascular (athero), oncology and development (pre-eclampsia), and brain (epilepsy). Furthermore, plant (wheat) crop imaging
2. What research needs or challenge were you aiming to address when looking for a
solution ?
Bringing multiphoton to the clinic by making the set-up mobile and allowing local (e.g., surgery room) measurements at complex locations
3. What factors influenced your decision to select our system ?
Uniqueness
4. How has your experience been using our system in your research work ?
Very good, although we just started. Callibration was easy, good interaction with the company
5. Have our system contributed to any improvements in your workflow, experiments,
efficiency, or research outcomes ?
Not yet, since we just started. But quite sure it will. Both in biomedical research and plant imaging (in field crop)
6. Are there any specific features or aspects you particularly value ?
Mobility, ease of use, flexibility, quality of imaging, interaction with company
7. Would you recommend our system to other researchers or institutions ? Why ?
Definitely, because of the above-mentioned properties
